
ROC-A Exam
I have never held a Canadian Aviation licence before, I need to do the exam and get my licence.
General Details

The ROC-A exams are conducted in person or via video conferencing.

Multiple-choice questions and oral assessments are included in both in-person & virtual exams.

Exams will be conducted in a closed-book format.

The candidate must be in Canada to take the exam.

The student must present the Aviation Examiner with identification at the beginning of the exam. (The following photo identifications are preferred - Driver's License, Passport, or PR card. For all other photo identifications, please contact the Aviation Examiner.)

The exam duration is 60 minutes.

Exams conducted via video conferencing will be recorded.

Issuance of Licence and Validity

ROC-A licenses usually arrive in the mail within four weeks.

The ROC-A license is valid for life.

If you have already earned the ROCA certification, there is no need to retake it. For damaged or lost licenses that need to be reissued, Click Here.
Fee Payment

Examination Fees are C$ 100 (Inclusive of all taxes)
*The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of no-Show or failure to pass. Any changes in date must be a minimum of 24 hours and must be via email.
